2nd International Conference on Financial Services Marketing (FSM2010) Was held in Tehran, 27-28 November 2010

About the Conference:

Iranian financing industry experienced one of the most important events in 27-28 November of 2010. The second international conference on financial services marketing with sincere cooperation and participation of private and state banks, exchange brokers, insurance companies and other financial institutions and support the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Finance and Central Bank of Islamic Republic of Iran was held in Tehran. The second experience in this, professors, experts and managers of financial organization and marketing inside and outside the country exchanged their scientific experiences in the international meeting center of IRIB.

The aim of this Financial Services Marketing Conference was integrating research activities and exchanging the experiences of managers and professionals who are working in the field of financial services marketing. Also to provide opportunities and create awareness of approaches to, and advances in these mentioned fields.

The mentioned conference with the main topic “Strategic Marketing and Stable Competitive Advantage in Financial Services Markets” was opened by lecturing of Mr. Ahmadi as the general secretary of Central Bank of Islamic Republic of Iran. Lecturing by several Iranian and foreign masters. Moreover, following the conference call for papers, presenting of some selected papers consisted the main program of conference first day.

Second day of conference was begun with the special session by attending of Dr. Seif and Mr. Sadr Hashemi, the two senior managers of Iranian banking system and also, Dr.Rousta, the scientific secretary of conference. They discussed various challenges and solutions regarding to the marketing of financial services and then responded to audience questions.

In two adjacent halls of conference, the Exhibitions were also held numerous exhibits that the numbers of banks and companies providing goods and services related to the banking services network.

In addition, the FSM Center hold four interesting workshops at the side hall of conference with conducting of Iranian and foreign trainers and also with participation of the marketing managers and experts of financial services industry.

Other interesting parts of this two-day conference were lecturing of Iranian professors who relying to state environmental knowledge regarding to financial services conditions, share their experiences on financial issues with audiences.

About FSM Center

The Marketing Financial Services Centre began its activities in 2009 with holding "the first international conference on banking services marketing". Noteworthy success of the conference and expressed interest by specialist, administrators and respected experts in this field upon the continuation of this conference and similar activities, were to lead development activities in the final conference statement which approved by audiences.

The FSM center accordance to achieve its mission and to prove to be true the predefined goals readiness to provide consultation services to all firms, financial services providers including banks, insurance companies, stock agencies etc, also with university professors, experienced specialists and experts.

So as to enhance the scientific level of managers, deputies, heads of branches, financial experts and staff, and to improve the effectiveness of their activities, e.g. recognition, acquisition and retention of customers, this Center is considering to offer specialized courses.

The Financial Service Marketing center enjoys effective cooperation and participation of professional experts who are able to offer special services in a range of Specific fields related to financial service marketing. Examples are applied and executive research.

A core mission of FSM is to develop and update relevant marketing knowledge. We aim to provide effective communication and interaction with those in financial services who are in foreign countries, including companies and specialists in their fields. So as to achieve this center’s strategic mission we intend to hold educational tours in countries which exhibit expertise in financial service marketing. Similarly we will promote mutual cooperation with reputable institutions and ‘top-notch’ foreign professors
